Mount Kenya National Park

Kenya’s highest point rises from thick forests to a spectacular pointed peak and stands at 5,199m, the tropical ice forms a series of glaciers,frozen faces and scene and scree around the summit.
The ethereal white peak is a remarkable vision, floating high over the surrounding Laikipia plains.
Trekking is like a dream come true and it’s easy to customize a hike through a range of different altitudes, geographical and climatic zones.
Airstrips: The closest commercial airstrip to the park is at nanyuki. WILDLIFE IN MOUNT KENYA include: Elephants, tree hyrax, white tailed mongoose, suni, black fronted duiker, mole rat, bushbucks, water buck and Elands.
Animals rarely seen include leopard, bongo, giant forest hog and rhino.The climate in mount Kenya varies with altitude.
