Lake nakuru national park is tucked inside the rift valley with all its admiration and beauty. The lake is usually frequented with numerous bird life and wildlife.

The lake itself is a salt water lake and has no outlet like other lakes so that makes it a hot spot for flamingos who are attracted by the algae that grows in an alkaline environment.

Being a natural dwelling place for the famous white rhino and also not to forget the famous rothschild giraffe which has no spots from it’s knees all the way down to it’s hooves the lake is unique in its own natural aspects.

Besides those three unique species that are found in lake Nakuru national park,the park is also a habitat for: lions'”mostly tree climbing lions”,cheetahs,common zebras,jackals,thompson gazelles,leopards, buffaloes,baboons which will leave you amazed with their acrobatic skills and also bird life which includes: flamingos,pelicans,both marabou storks and yellow billed storks,hammerkops,and numerous species of other birds.
